WHO AM I?

My name is Thembela Maduduka. I live in Langa at Zone 7 – 56. I am 13 years old.

My friends used to call me Themsi. I like to play tennis; actually, it is my best sport. My favourite food is pizza. I hate snakes, snails, frogs and that entire stuff. The animal I like is a rabbit because it is not wilder than the other animals, although the others are not wild, but the rabbit it is like a cute baby.

My hobbies are reading, cooking, playing with other children. I also like to watch documentaries, especially those about animals and plants. When you watch about the documentaries and TV shows tells what is happening in our world.

My previous school was Zimasa Community School. At lunchtime we did not have time to watch movies, we were playing different games.

I attend Westerford, everything is fine and it is so strict but in all of that, I am enjoying myself. The teachers are so nice and when you need help, they will help you. They give us work but they are not that hard. My class teacher is Ms Coetzee and she is my Afrikaans teacher. My best subjects are Maths, Geography, Technology, Science, E.M.S and English. I met lots of people at Westerford.

When I grow up, I would like to be a scientist. I want to know more about chemicals and diseases like aids, cancer and cholera. My dream car is a BMW. I wish I could be a singer. I wish I could achieve all of my goals.

MY FIRST TERM.

My first term was like a new world. When I came in at Westerford I thought it will be the same as my previous school. I met three pupils, their names are Onele, Simile and Matapelo.

The teachers at Westerford are nice and they talk to somebody when you have problems with the subject or anything. I learn more things at Westerford. I learnt how to use a computer and also I’m confident.

I played tennis for my summer sport but I couldn’t make it because I didn’t have a kit for the sport. But I am good at tennis and I also play for Western Province.

There was a Founders Days on the 5th March. I enjoyed it a lot, there were lots of activities. The grades were not in the same places.

There were basketball matches and I went there. We were always winning. We have prefects that are not strict. They are nice, they talk to us and they play with us. But in all of those I love Westerford.
