LATEST NEWS:
Thus far, the year has been very eventful. We have had our inter-house and inter-school competitions and opening of various clubs and societies.
At the beginning of the year we had one inter-house event and I trained very hard for it, all the training I did paid off because I came first in the 500m and 1500 races and second in the 800m. Due to my success in these races, I was given automatic entry into the inter-school competitions. Unfortunately did not achieve the result I hoping to get, coming seventh in the 5000 and 1500 races respectively.
During the year, we have written a number of tests which I passed very well. In the March periodical, I achieved the top mark in my life sciences class (77%), one of the top pupils in mathematics (86%) and have had a huge improvement in English from 40% to 60%. However I am striving to obtain even better marks for next term, I also got 82% for life orientation which is also a big improvement from a mere 20%.
I have given up online chatting because I have realized that my schoolwork should take priority.
I have been involved in a number of cultural activities at school, the hiking club; I have been to the planetarium with the science club. I took part in science Olympiad, the swimming gala and the Valentine’s Day show.
I thank you again for giving me the opportunity to be part of the KMF, if it was not for you I would not be in a good school because my does not have the means.
