LATEST NEWS:

My greatest academic achievement this term, was my English essay. I wrote about environmental issues and it really helped to put my thoughts in order and decide what I was going to do about it. Then there is the ECO society which I am a bit worried about. We haven’t really done anything useful yet, so Mr Green might dissolve the society. So I had better get that collect-a-can project going! My friends are going haywire. I don’t look at them same way anymore.

I am kind of sad that the softball season is over. My mom’s happy though, because she grudgingly lets me use public transport. I don’t mind because softball is fun. But I need more time for homework and studying. I want to be among the top ten, not the top twenty, in June. But for that I need to concentrate on Accounting, and maybe get extra lessons for Physics. I do go for Maths tuition. I take the taxi and work during the holidays to save and pay for it. I use the December holidays to work and save money, but that money is nearly up. So I am going to work in Easter break.

I am happy to be the treasurer of the Welfare society. I feel that since the Kay Mason Foundation is helping me, I can do the same for someone else. It’s a real confidence booster.

I tried to be a happier person this term and guess what? It worked! I discovered a whole new me. Sometimes I feel that I am faking the smiles - there, I am being cynical again. But I also don’t want to believe life is a sugar-coated wonderland!

Anyway, that was my term. Well, the best and worst of it anyway, and all that I made of it.
