The highlights of the term academically are not many, but I achieved an A in Biology which really made me proud of myself as Biology is difficult. I also achieved a B in Afrikaans which is quite a difficult subject.

I’ve recently joined a youth group from a church and I have met a lot of new positive teenagers.

At school, I’ve improved my public speaking skills as I’ve been the Master of Ceremonies for a few school activities in the hall.

I face many challenges academically as school is difficult especially Physics which I can’t seem to grasp. I plan to get extra classes for Physics so that I can cope.

Spiritually I have grown so much because I am learning for confirmation and I believe that spirituality is very important to every human as it promotes compassion and tolerance and much more.

I plan to spend my holidays productively by getting fit for winter season as I play squash and the season is approaching.

This scholarship means a lot to me as I feel very honoured to be part of such a prestigious programme and my education is important to me.
